All the data available thus far indicate the state-run AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) camp for refugees in Adıyaman as one of the major centers of ISIS activities in Turkey.

All the data available thus far indicate the state-run AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) camp for refugees in Adıyaman as one of the major centers of ISIS activities in Turkey.

Turkish citizen Abdulkadir Gözükara, who met the ISIS at the mentioned AFAD camp and was later engaged in activities of recruiting members, later joined the savage ISIS gangs alongside his Syrian wife whom he met at the camp.

Abdulkadir Gözükara's name appears on the 21-person list of 'suicide bombers' wanted in Turkey. His father Hasan Gözükara, who spoke to ANF, said he feared his son could commit a suicide attack in Turkey.

'EVERYTHING BEGAN AT THE AFAD CAMP'

The father of the suicide bomber on Turkey's list told that his son went through a 90-degree change after he started to work at the AFAD camp in Adıyaman. "He would sometimes take my car and leave the house, saying that he would spend some time with his friends. We learned much later about his involvement in ISIS activities. My son is a victim. He could never butcher a chicken even, but they changed him and took him away after paying him 20 billions, just like what they do to all the others joining them. My son met ISIS and got involved in them at the AFAD camp."

'HE JOINED ISIS WITH HIS WIFE AND CHILD'

Father Gözükara said he saw his son several times at a tea house which was one other center of ISIS activities in the city apart from the AFAD camp. The father told that he took precautions to be able to hinder his son, adding; "Eight months ago, he left the house saying that he would take his wife to hospital, and he disappeared. I later learned that he had crossed into Syria. Two days later, I went to the police station where they asked me if he had been visiting the 'Islam Teahouse', and I answered that he would go there often. My son, his wife and his child are now within the ISIS in Syria."

'I COULDN'T HINDER HIM'

The father continued; "I did many things to be able to hinder my son, I gave him money, seized his motorcycle and car, I threw him out of the house and he stayed near the neighbors for two days, but I couldn't hinder him from joining the ISIS. He sometimes calls us now, but it is obvious that he remains under pressure, because of which we cannot talk very much."

'POLICE SAID THIS ISSUE GOES BEYOND THEM'

The father said he gave the police the phone number by which his son calls them, adding; "However, police told me that they searched for the number but couldn't reach any details. Police have recently called me to the station and took a blood sample from me, saying that my son is on the list of wanted suicide bombers. I told the police to find and arrest all those on the list, to which they replied 'we will do that if we find them'. Yet, none of them has been captured yet. Police say that this issue goes beyond them, they cannot intervene the situation."

'I FEAR MY SON MIGHT BE IN TURKEY'

Father Gözükara said they learned that it was Mustafa Dokumacı and Yunus Emre Alagöz who took his son away in return for money, adding; "My son is on the list of wanted suicide bombers. I fear he might be in Turkey at the moment. Now that the ISIS makes a suicide bomber out of a boy who cannot butcher a chicken even, it is quite possible that he may blow himself up in an action here."
