Special operation police teams opened fire on Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) building in Cizre. Gunshots are heard from many places in the district.

Long barreled weapons were used by special operation police teams during the attack on BDP building which was followed by the arrest of dozens of people in the building, including women and children.  

On the other hand, police also opened fire on the people joining Newroz celebrations in the district. Many people are reported wounded as clashes are reported continuing.
