MSD statement after the meeting with the regime

MSD stated that during their meeting with the Syrian government in Damascus, it was decided to establish committees in all fields to develop dialogue and negotiations between the two sides.

A delegation from the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) held a meeting with the Syrian government in Damascus on July 26.

The MSD statement on the meeting said the following;

“At the request of the Syrian government, a meeting was held between the Syrian Democratic Council and Syrian government delegations in Damascus on July 26, 2018. The goal of the meeting is to form a basis for extensive dialogue for the solution of the Syrian crisis and all other problems.

Before this meeting, small committees from two sides held talks in Tabqa city where discussions were held in the aspect of service.

As a result of the meeting in Damascus, it was decided to establish committees in all fields in order to develop dialogue and negotiations, ensure the ending of violence and conflict that endanger the Syrian people and society, and form a roadmap for a decentralized and democratic Syria.”
