KDP officials to Erdoğan: “We are friends!”

The KDP officials treaded the national honor, and pledged on Twitter: "Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are your friend, don't lose us!"

As reactions grow on the side of the Turkish state-President Erdoğan in the first place- against the independence referendum scheduled in Southern Kurdistan for September 25, Head of KDP (Kurdistan Democratic Party) parliamentary group Omed Xoshnaw addressed to the Turkish president Tayyip Erdoğan in a Twitter message, and said: “We are your friend, don't lose us!”

The same text was tweeted in Turkish by Berhem Hasan Mistefa (@BarhamHassanM), an adviser to KDP leader Masoud Barzani.

Speaking on a TV program a few days ago, Erdoğan said Turkey’s response to referendum will be given after the National Security Council (MGK) and the Cabinet meeting.

Erdoğan said they pulled the NSC meeting from September 27 to September 22 due to the referendum in Southern Kurdistan and mentioned KDP Leader Barzani’s name followed by the threat: “Our opinion is known, but now he [Barzani] will see how far our sensibilities go in this issue more clearly after the National Security Council on the 22nd and the Cabinet meeting.”
