The Press and Communications Center of People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BİM) released a statement announcing details of actions against the Turkish army that continues its invasion attacks in Barzan region within South Kurdistan boundaries.

According to the statement, guerrillas carried out an action against Turkish units stationed on Koordine Hill near Hill Xwedê in Barzan region. At 06:30 on April 19, guerrillas effectively hit the positions and shelters of the Turkish units, leaving 7 soldiers dead.

After a very short while, YJA-Star guerrillas carried out an action against Turkish units on Bayrak hill in Barzan region. 4 Turkish soldiers were confirmed killed in this action.
