Demo in Aleppo against Öcalan's isolation and Turkish attacks

Dozens of youths joined a march demanding freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and end to the Turkish state's attacks on Rojava.

The Aleppo branch of Rojava Youth Union staged a march to protest the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the invading Turkish army's attacks on Northern Syria.

The march kicked off in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood and continued to the Hulik neighborhood, with demonstrators carrying Öcalan's images, YPG/YPJ flags and banners reading “No To Isolation”, “YPG/YPG is the Reality of Revolution” and “No Life Without the Leader”.

Speaking at the Hulik neighborhood intersection where the march ended, Rojava Youth Union Assembly representative Mehmûd Mihemed condemned the isolation of Öcalan and stressed that Northern Syria youth would enhance the struggle for his freedom.

Speaking after, Young Women's Union member Rojîn Qelendir condemned the invading Turkish army's attacks on Shehba region, and vowed that Northern Syria youth would resist colonialism until the end.

The demonstration ended with slogans in which demonstrators voiced their loyalty to the Kurdish leader.
