HRE: 5 invaders killed in Afrin, Azaz and Mare

Afrin Liberation Forces announced that at least 5 invaders were killed in a series of actions in Azaz, Mare and Shera districts.

Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) issued a written statement and shared details from actions in Afrin’s Shera, Azaz and Mare. At least 5 Turkish soldiers and allied gang members were killed in the actions and military vehicles were destroyed.

The HRE statement is as follows:

“Our forces have carried out a series of actions in Azaz and Mare regions as well as the  Shera district against the Turkish army and the terrorist groups they control in and around Afrin.

In a sabotage action against a group of invading terrorists on June 29, our forces destroyed a military vehicle, killed 1 gang member and wounded 3 more.

On July 2, in the Meryemin village of Afrin’s Shera district our forces carried out an action against two positions of the invading Turkish army and their allied gangs. Both positions were destroyed, 1 member of the Liwa Al Shimal terrorist group was killed, 1 Turkish soldier was killed and 2 others were wounded.

On June 2 in the Kefer Xashir village in Azaz, at least 2 terrorists were killed and 4 wounded in an ambush by our forces against the Liwa Al Shimal terrorist group.

Our forces also carried out a sabotage action against a group of terrorists trying to reach the action grounds for backup. 1 military vehicle was destroyed and 7 gang members were wounded severely.

On June 2, intense and violent clashes broke out in the Mare region between our forces and the Turkish army joined by their allied gangs. The number of casualties in the clashes could not be determined.”
