Kurdish citizen Uğur Şakar burned himself in Krefeld, Germany on Wednesday in protest at the aggravated isolation regime imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

64% of Şakar’s body suffered burns and his lungs were greatly damaged, leaving him in a critical condition.

In the meantime, hundreds of Kurds rushed to the hospital where Şakar is receiving treatment in the Duisburg city.

Following a talk with doctors, the crowd was informed about the health state of Şakar and a call was made to gather outside the hospital starting from 10am tomorrow morning.
