YSK accepts unstamped ballots in Turkey but not those abroad

Turkish Supreme Election Board has accepted ballots without official stamps valid on AKP's demand during Sunday's dubious referendum. Unstamped ballots also emerged abroad but these were ruled invalid, again on AKP's demand.

Ballots without official stamp of the Supreme Election Board (YSK), that were widely used and exposed the nation-wide fraud during Sunday's dubious referendum in Turkey, have also emerged in the ballot box No:472 abroad.

The numerous unstamped ballots exposed to be used across Turkey on Sunday have been accepted by YSK on AKP's demand, as YSK President himself stated Sunday evening.

After the emergence of similar unstamped ballots in abroad votes, YSK decided that these ballots will be deemed invalid in accordance with the article 98 of the Election Law. This decision by YSK came after an application by AKP official Muhammed Bilal Haliloğlu.
