Van Governor and Metropolitan Municipality Government-appointed commissioner Murat Zorluoğlu handed to his wife, Sevcan Zorluoğlu, some of the work needed done.

Governor Murat Zorluoğlu's wife, Sevcan Zorluoğlu, is in charge of acting as Governor even though she has no legal authority to do so. She runs the Metropolitan Municipality Social Policy Office and gives press statements.

In Van, Governor Murat Zorluoğlu, who has been serving as a sort of Police Chief, and has run the governorship as  a military-police station, putting pressure on people since his arrival, has me strong reaction especially for the propaganda he made for the AKP before the 24 June elections. 

Sevcan Zorluoğlu, wife of Governor Murat Zorluoğlu, has been seen hanging bilbaords all over Van, and now is acts on behalf of her husband even though she has no legal authority, to do so.

The Van Metropolitan Municipality gives instructions to the Head of the Municipal Department for intervention in the personnel of the municipality and for the removal or replacement of personnel.  

Sevcan Zorluoğlu carries out activities to inform people about the work the governor and the municipality have done. It has been alleged that she did not neglect to distribute gifts to the families she has visited.

Zorluoğlu has good relations with KADEM, directed by President Erdogan's daughter Sümeya Erdogan Bayraktar. He often come together with the association's managers. 
Sevcan Zorluoğlu also takes care of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation (SYDV) and the Family Services Support Center (ADEM).

Zorluoğlu last week went to Gurpinar district to inspect the service units of Gurpinar Municipality, which was managed by the government-appointed commissione, i.e. her husband.

Zorluoğlu does not neglect to inform the press to explain her work. Zorluoğlu indeed, appears often in the press published in Van and Elaziğ. She told the press why she is so active: "The Governor is very busy." - she said and added: "He is both the mayor and the governor. There is no concept of overtime since we went to Van, we do not have a weekend break, we have a lot of work, and I hope we will solve all the problems of Van. "
