Twin bombings in Baghdad kill 4 people, wound 8 others

Twin bombings in Baghdad have left 4 people dead and 8 others wounded as Turkish PM Binali Yıldırım meets with his counterpart Abadi in the capital city.

Iraq's capital city Baghdad was shaken by twin blasts Saturday afternoon, which left 4 people dead and 8 others wounded.

A bomb-laden vehicle was detonated at the Mîllî market in Shole district to the northwest of Baghdad. According to initial reports, 3 people died and 4 were wounded here.

Another bombing took place at the Yusufiye market to the south of Baghdad, leaving 1 dead and 3 wounded.

The bombings occurred as Turkish PM Binali Yıldırım meets with his counterpart Haider Al-Abadi in the capital city.
