Trump threatens massive expulsions of undocumented migrants

Continuing with his tactics of permanent threats, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced in his Twitter account that the massive expulsion of undocumented immigrants will begin.

"They will be expelled as soon as they enter," he said, although he did not clarify where they will be sent, since Mexico has rejected the status of "safe third country".

Trump also praised in his messages the work of Mexico "arresting people long before they reach the southern border", while days earlier he had criticized the authorities of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador for not preventing the departure of the so called migrant caravans, and announced that he intends to permanently divert, for other purposes, the 550 million dollars of "aid" originally destined to the countries of Central America.

According to estimates in the U.S., there are some 12 million "undocumented" migrants, and although both Trump and the mainstream media emphasize above all those coming from Latin American countries, the proportion of those who come from other regions of the world is unknown.
