‘Syrian peoples united’ chant thousands at Rojava border

Peoples of North and East Syria, who are under the threat of an imminent military incursion by Turkey, are streaming to the border with Turkey.

The human shield action started in Serekaniye on October 7 has been joined by more people today. Thousands from Kurdish, Arab and Syriac communities in the Heseke Canton have rushed to the border area and joined the resistance today. Demonstrators also include Arab tribes and opinion leaders.

People taking part in the protest chant “Long Live the SDF resistance” and “Syrian peoples are united” as they remain in the border are to use their bodies as human shields to counter a possible invasion attempt by the neighboring Turkish state that has already invaded parts of northern Syria.
