Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office has prepared summaries of proceedings against Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) co-chair Pervin Buldan, Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chair Berdan Öztürk and Amed HDP deputy Imam Taşçıer and HDP Dersim deputy Alican Önlü for “spreading propaganda for an illegal organization”.

The Prosecutor’s Office based its action on a speech delivered by Buldan before the general elections on 24 June 2018 at Siirt Republic Square, a speech delivered by Ozturk on 21 March 2018 at the Newroz event in Agri, a post on social media by Amed deputy Imam Tascier on 24 May 2018 and speeches he delivered on 8 and 9 September 2018 in Amed; a speech delivered by Dersim deputy Alican Önlü at the Newroz event held in Dersim on 21 March 2018.

The summaries of proceedings were sent to the Ministry of Justice to be forwarded to the Parliament asking for the lifting of immunity.
