A social media campaign on Twitter has been organized by activists to support the hunger strikes that have been initiated demanding the removal of the isolation of the Kurdish People’s Leader, Abdullah Ocalan, urging international organizations to observe his security, health and freedom.

The Twitterstorm will be launched tomorrow January 6 at 19:00 Central European Time (CET), and it aims to report the hunger strikes in Kurdistan to the world.

A brief statement has been published in English, Kurdish and Turkish language, which says: “Leyla Guven’s hunger strike has reached a dangerous stage. To call on the CPT and the Council of Europe to meet the demand of Leyla Guven and others on an indefinite and irreversible hunger strike, we initiate on 6th January a hashtag campaign on social media.”

The statement calls on everyone to join the social media campaign in order to convey the voice and the demand of Leyla Guven.
