A woman with the name Şirîn Dexîl Hemo and three of her children have been rescued by SDF forces from the clutches of ISIS gangs in the Deir ez-Zor region. The Movement of Free Êzidî Women (TAJÊ) has reunited the woman and her children with her family.
Şirîn Dexîl Hemo, who fell into the hands of the ISIS gangs together with her children during the Shengal genocide on 3 August 2014, has been rescued by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Deir ez-Zor region on September 11. As soon as the woman reached the soil of Shengal, she visited the Martyr Dilgeş and Martyr Berxwedan Martyrs' Cemetery.
When Şirîn Dexîl Hemo was reunited with her family, Movement of Free Êzidî Women (TAJÊ) Executive Board member mother Niam Îlyas spoke on behalf of the TAJÊ council and said: "We are today very happy that another one of our women has been rescued from the clutches of ISIS. We thank the SDF forces for having freed Şirîn and her three daughters from the ISIS gangs."
Speaking on behalf of Şirîn Dexîl's family, her mother Henîf Brahîm expressed her joy and said: "We thank the SDF for having rescued my daughter from the claws of the ISIS gangs. I am happy beyond words about the freedom of my daughter and my three nieces and to have them once again with us. I thank all the comrades."
At the end Şirîn Dexîl spoke and said: "I am very glad to have come to Shengal. I thank and greet all comrades and wish them success."
The TAJÊ Council reunited Şirîn and her three daughters with their family in the Serdesht area.
