YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have the ISIS gangs surrounded and have crossed into the Raqqa city center where intense clashes continue.

The clashes that started in the central Amin neighborhood of Raqqa yesterday around the Weteni Hospital and the Rashid Gardens still continue. An explosive laden vehicle was disarmed in the same neighborhood by SDF fighters and two suicide bombers were neutralized.

In the ongoing intense clashes in the Amin neighborhood, 33 gang members have been killed.

According to the SDF, 5 fighters have been martyred since yesterday in a relentless resistance.

The clashes continue around the Weteni Hospital and the Rashid Gardens still.

The Operation to Liberate Raqqa launched on June 6 is drawing to a close. Most of the city has been cleared of gangs.
