The Wrath of Euphrates fighters had paused their advance for the last few days due to a strong sand storm in the area, but yesterday evening they resumed their advance towards Raqqa.

According to reports from the region, the SDF fighters who started towards Raqqa from the east advanced up to the Hamrat Nesra village 6 km to the east of the city. Intense clashes broke out between SDF fighters and the gangs in the village.

Two neighborhoods of the village were liberated following the clashes. Clashes continue in other neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, fighters advancing from the west of Raqqa have are on their way to liberate the Serhebiya village. The intense clashes that broke out in this village continue still.

In clashes since yesterday, at least 13 gang members have been killed. The fighters continue their search efforts in liberated areas.
