Protest for Ocalan outside Turkish embassy in Bolivia

In front of the Turkish Embassy in the Bolivian capital La Paz, women demonstrated for the freedom of the PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and expressed their solidarity with the resistance of Leyla Güven.

In La Paz city of Bolivia, women held a protest in front of the Turkish embassy on the occasion of the anniversary of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan's capture and handing over to Turkey, twenty years ago.

The women put up banners and chanted "Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan".

The women from Bolivia also expressed their solidarity with the Kurdish politician Leyla Güven. The HDP MP has been on a hunger strike for over a hundred days against the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan on Imrali Prison Island.
