Protest against the isolation of Ocalan in Switzerland

Kurds and their friends in the Solothurn city of Switzerland protested the October 9 international conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Concerns grow over the conditions of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan who was driven out of Syria as result of an international conspiracy and is being held in aggravated isolation in Turkey

Dozens joined a demonstration held in front of the central train station upon the call of Solothurn Democratic Kurdish Society Center (CDK), unfurling a huge banner which read “Freedom for Ocalan, status for Kurdistan”.

Speakers on behalf of CDK called for strong participation in the central demonstration to be held on October 7, following the march to be staged in Basel on October 6 as part of demonstrations to be held across Europe to mark the 19th anniversary of October 9 conspiracy. Demonstrators will demand freedom for Ocalan and an end to his isolation.
