Partiya Îslamiya Kurdistan: “HDP is the only alternative”
The Partiya Îslamiya Kurdistan says: “We will be supporting the Kurdish alliance, the HDP in the elections.”
PÎK-Partiya Îslamiya Kurdistan (Kurdistan Islamic Party) Leader Hikmet Serbilind made a statement on the June 24 elections.
“We support the Kurdish alliance that is the only alternative to take down the dictatorship,” says the statement and points out the denialist and assimilationist structure of the Turkish state.
“AGAINST THE DICTATOR, TO THE BALLOTS, TO VOTE FOR HDP”
The statement also mentions the political genocide and says the following:
“Fraternity and national unity are our fundamental principles, and we consider it a vital matter to uphold these principles. (...) We consider it good that a Kurdish alliance has been formed within the HDP. We believe that the Kurdish alliance will give our people hope against the dictator-one man regime in these elections.
As the Partiya Îslamiya Kurdistan, we support the HDP and its wide cast alliance that embraces all in these elections. We are asking our members, sympathisers and allies of our party and all the oppressed Kurdish people to go to the ballots against the fascist dictator’s regime and vote for the Kurdish alliance, vote for the HDP.”
