Turkey's Revolutionary Workers Unions Confederation (DISK), Confederation of Public Workers' Unions (KESK), Turkish Engineers and Architects Association (electricty), Turkish Medical Association (TTB), have seen their request to use Taksim Square in Istanbul rejected. 

Once again the governor of Istanbul has denied permission to celebrate Workers’ Day in Taksim as was traditionally done.

The delegation of trade unions confirmed that after their meeting with the governor of Istanbul, their request was rejected.
