The solidarity hunger strike in Stuttgart continues.

The solidarity hunger strike in Stuttgart continues.

The action is being carried out in solidarity with the hunger strike launched a month ago in Amed prison by HDP Hakkari deputy Leyla Güven, who is demanding an end to the isolation regime imposed on Kurdish people’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

On the third day of the hunger strike, activists in Stuttgart read a press release in Marstallstraße.

After the press release, a tent was set up and a new group of eight people took over the hunger strike.

One of the first participants of the hunger strike, Pembuşah Özmen, said he wanted to continue the action and to join the new activists.

The public paid visit to the tent. Many people went to express their solidarity to the hungers.

The hunger strike is carried out in Marstallstraße during the day and continues in the Democratic Society Center in the evenings.
