New charges pressed for the Paris Massacre

New charges have been pressed regarding the massacre where 3 Kurdish female revolutionaries were murdered on January 9, 2013 in the French capital.

Family members of PKK founder Sakine Cansız, KNK Paris Representative Fidan Doğan and youth movement member Leyla Şaylemez who were murdered in Paris are demanding an investigation to put the collaborators on trial.

A lawyer for the families, Antoine Comte spoke to the ANF and said they pressed new charges. Comte pointed out the Turkish intelligence agency’s Europe-wide espionage activities and stated that there are separate investigations in Belgium, Germany and France now.

THERE ARE TIES BETWEEN THE EVENTS IN BELGIUM AND FRANCE

Comte said: “There are investigations on Turkish intelligence espionage activity in Germany. There is an investigation in Belgium on the potential attacks against Kurdish officials. There are ties between the events in Belgium and France.”

Comte added, “We want a judge who will investigate all these factors.” The new charges were pressed on March 12.

According to new information, confessions from two high-ranking MİT officials captured by the PKK were also added to the case on the Paris Massacre. MİT officials Erhan Pekçetin and Aydın Günel were caught in a special operation on August 4, 2017 as they were planning assassinations in Southern Kurdistan, and their confessions had been published by the ANF from January onwards. Both MİT officials had admitted to the MİT organizing the Paris Massacre. The confessions confirmed the confidential MİT order that was leaked to the press in January 2014 and the voice recording leaked to social media on January 12 the same year. The document gave Güney the order for the assassinations and was signed by 4 MİT administrators. The voice recording showed Güney discussing the assassination plans with two MİT members. The confessions of the captured MİT officials said the hitman Ömer Güney’s tickets for his visits to Turkey were bought by a travel agency working for the MİT.
