Three youths who had been detained in house raid operations in Antep were referred first to the prosecution office, then to a court last night. All the three were remanded in custody and sent to Antep H Type Closed Prison on charges of “membership to a terrorist organization”.

With the arrest of the three youths, the number of those remanded in custody in the most recent operations in Antep rose to 14, including 11 out of 21 people who had been detained on July 28.

Two other people who had been detained in Yüksekova district of Hakkari at the night of July 28, when their car was stopped by special operation teams, were referred to the courthouse yesterday.

One among them was released following procedures here, while the other was remanded in custody and sent to Hakkari Closed Prison.

On the other hand, one other person, who had been detained alongside three other people in house raid operations in Yüksekova, was also remanded in custody and sent to Hakkari Closed Prison on charges of “membership to a terrorist organization”.

In Hatay province, a 25-year-old youth who had been detained in police operations on July 24, was officially arrested on charges of “membership to a terrorist organization”, with which the number of those remanded in custody in the city rose to six.

Among the three people who had been detained in police operations in Antalya on July 27, two were remanded in custody and sent to Antalya L Type Closed Prison.
