Deir ez-Zor Civil Council held a meeting at the Council’s office in Kasra region on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Council and Euphrates Relief Organization.

In a press statement after the meeting, it was announced that a decision was made at the meeting to launch a campaign to clear the remnants of war in the areas that YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have liberated from ISIS in the Operation Cizire Storm in the outskirts of the city.

Deir ez-Zor Civil Council Co-president Xesan Yûsif said 282 thousand Dollar budget has been allocated for the campaign which will last five months.
