DTK Co-chair and HDP MP Leyla Guven is on an indefinite hunger strike for 98 days demanding an end to the isolation regime imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

International Imralı Peace Delegation members have visited Guven at her house in Amed (Diyarbakır) today. Guven’s health has deteriorated while the delegation members were about to make a statement to the press after their visit to the Kurdish politician.

Guven is reportedly experiencing pain in chest and she has been taken to a private hospital by medical teams.
