Kurds protest the US decision in Hamburg

Demonstrations to condemn the US decision against three PKK leaders continue across Europe.

Kurds and their allies continue to protest the US putting a bounty on three senior leaders of the Kurdish freedom movement, Cemil Bayık, Murat Karayılan and Duran Kalkan.

Several European cities have been witnessing protests against the US decision since last week.

In the German city of Hamburg, a group of Kurds staged a demonstration on one of the busiest streets of the city, Mönckeberg Strasse.

Demonstrators chanted slogans in favor of the PKK and sang the Kurdish anthem “Herne Peş”.

Another protest against the US decision will take place in Jungferstieg district at 5pm today.
