COLOGNE

Kurds living in the German city Cologne came together in a meeting and stood up for Rojava's Efrîn canton under attack of the Turkish state.

Organized by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Kurdish Democratic Society Centre (NCDK) a demonstation was held at the Bahnhofsplatz, in which Kurds from Rojava living in Cologne and surroundings participated. During the demonstration banners reading "No to the AKP-ISIS fascism", "Erdoğan attacks Efrin", "Guaranty of our freedom is self defence" and depicting cartoons which emphasize the collaboration between Erdoğan and ISIS.

Leaflets and fliers prepared by the PYD were read out loud and distributed. The demonstrators chanted also in unison the Kurdish revolution anthem 'Çerxa Şoreşê', followed by playback of the Rojava Anthem via loudspeakers.

HANNOVER

In German city Hannover a march for the Efrîn canton was organized by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) starting in front of the train station. German antifascist groups also took part in the march, which was held on one of the busiest streets. During the march banners with the inscription "Stop the terror of the Turkish state against Efrin's population" were unfurled and the flag of the TEV-DEM as well as German inscribed placards were upheld.

During the march leaflets made by the PYD were read out and slogans like "Long live leader Apo", "Long live the Resistance of Efrîn" and "Murderer Erdoğan" were chanted loudly.

ZURICH

In Swiss city of Zurich a demo was organized by the PYD aimed at protesting the invasion plans of the Turkish state against Efrîn.

The demonstration started with a minute of silence dedicated to the July 14 Martyrs of the Great Death Fast, in front of the Turkish Consulate. During the demonstration flags of the YPG and YPJ were held high and the representative of the PYD for Zurich gave a speech stressing that in order to prevent the invasion plans of the Turkish state the Kurdish people will take to the streets nonstop.

Afterwards a short speech was held under the name of the Women's Movement of the PYD. The statement said: "Everybody shall know well that the same way like women have defended their land in whole Rojava, also Efrîn will rise up."
