Kurdish youth protest for Öcalan in Marseille

Demonstration for Öcalan’s freedom in France.

Members of the Kurdish Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger) organised a demonstration in the French city of Marseille to protest the AKP regime’s attacks against South Kurdistan and to demand freedom for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Meeting in front of the historical train station in the city, the protesters unfurled a PKK flag and a banner reading “Freedom for Öcalan”.

Chanting “Murderer Erdoğan” and "Bijî Serok Apo" [Long Live Leader Öcalan] and handing out leaflets in French, the demonstrators vowed that their protests will continue until fascism is smashed in Kurdistan.
