HARASSMENT AND MISTREATMENT

HDP Foreign Relations Commission member Nazmi Gür talked about the ill-treatment they have faced in prison.

“Officials check us twice with x-ray device from the ward to the outside. But today, we were subjected to harassment by an officer working there during body search. We were faced with a hostile attitude. We protest and cannot accept it. We will report it to the prison administration and the Ministry of Justice, but we reject this attitude of the prison administration and staff. The attitude of the gendarmerie is not good either while they bring us here. We are mistreated. Prison staff tried to read the defenses we prepared, we do not accept this,” Gür said.

The hearing is continuing with Emine Ayna's defense.
