The Israeli Parliament Knesset has decided to include the 1915 genocide against the Armenian people in the parliamentary agenda.

Left-leaning Merez Party Leader Tamar Sandberg submitted a proposal on the matter which was voted on in the session on Wednesday.

According to the newspaper Haaretz, the proposal to include the recognition of the 1915 Armenian Genocide as a genocide officially in the parliamentary agenda was accepted with 16 votes.

When the proposal will be discussed is not clear as of yet.
