Isolation of Öcalan protested in Cape Town

The isolation of Öcalan was protested in South Africa.

An action was staged outside the Turkish Consulate in Cape Town city of South Africa today to mark March 8 International Women’s Day.

Kurds and their friends highlighted the Turkish state’s isolation regime against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and saluted HDP MP Leyla Güven who is on hunger strike for 121 days against the isolation.

The demonstration was organised by KHRAG Kurdish Human Rights Action Group, South African Communist Party and Congress of South African Trade Unions.
