Internationalists marched for Rojava in Germany

The activists followed the banner carrying the slogan "Freedom for Kurdistan - Protect Kobanê" and carried YPG flags.

More than 300 internationalists joined an action, led by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (Revolutionary Youth’s Movement) in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

The intellectuals, doctors and Kurdish students who participated in the action gave messages of solidarity with Rojava.

A German song was sung demanding freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and sending a message of solidarity with Rojava.

The activists followed the banner carrying the slogan "Freedom for Kurdistan - Protect Kobanê" and carried YPG flags. German police tried to get YPG flags from the hands of the activists. In Germany symbols like the YPG and PKK flags have been banned.

The Kurdish youth movement reacted to the unacceptable attitude of the police and urged "all the revolutionary youth to stand up against criminalization".
