AvEG-Kon member H. Özkan Özdemir is continuing his hunger strike in Paris demanding the end of isolation against Abdullah Öcalan.

Özdemir was visited by the French General Workers Union and ICOR-France.

ICOR representative said that they support the hunger strike undertaken in Turkey and Kurdistan as it is their duty to show solidarity with the Kurdish activists.

Özdemir commended international solidarity and added that this is something that weaken the AKP dictatorship.

CGT Confederation representative Johany Poncet A. Auzenda commended the hunger strike resistance and said that they would support the actions carried out by Kurdish activists.

On 20 April, Saturday, at 5 pm hunger striker H. Özkan Özdemir will join a panel organised at the Drancy Kurdish Democratic Society Centre.
