In the rural areas of the center of Dersim, fires have been started by Turkish bombing on Sunday morning.

The HDP, concerned over the growing forest fires, has decided to send a delegation of 11 deputies to the region.

The delegation will reach Dersim on Tuesday, it was announced.

The delegation will include HDP group vice president Ayhan Bilgen, and will be made up of Dersim MP Alican Önlü and members of parliament Mahmut Toğrul, Erkan Baş, Hüda Kaya, Meral Danış Beştaş, Erdal Aydemir, Murat Çepni, Mehmet Tiryaki Dilşat Canbaz and Kemal Bülbül.

Volunteers had been able to control the fire, after weeks of dangerous attempts and without any help from the authorities. Despite the efforts of the population, though, fires have begun again, after the recent bombing.
