HDP co-mayors sent to Court in Mardin
HDP co-mayors and employees of three municipalities of the province of Mardin sent to Court.
Savur Municipality HDP co-mayor Gülistan Öncü, Mazıdağı Municipality HDP co-mayor Nalan Özaydın and Derik Municipality HDP co-mayor Mulkiye Esmez as well as 4 municipal employees were taken into custody on 15 November.
After 12 days in custody the three co-mayors and employees, the police department said it has ended the procedure competing to them and sent all of the detainees to Mardin Courthouse.
