Four HDP members remanded in custody in Izmir
Four people, including HDP members Mahfuz Güleryüz and Gülay Gün Bilici, were remanded in custody following the new political genocide operation carried out on 26 November in İzmir.
On 26 November eight HDP members were taken into custody included MYK (Central Executive Board) member Mahfuz Güleryüz, PM (Party Assembly) member Gülay Bilici and HDP Menemen District executive Mustafa Aydın.
The detentions were made on the grounds that the HDP members participated and spoke at the "Menemen district congress".
HDP Bilici, Ertene and Gündüz were remanded in custody on charges of “Propaganda for an illegal Organization".
On the other hand, Melih Coşkun, Mustafa Aydın, Feyyaz Yılmaz and Tayfun Yahşi, were released under control order.
