End isolation, say activists in Paris

The crowd moved from Republique Square to Bastille Square where Kurdish politician Fırat Varto saluted the resistance led by Leyla Güven and other hunger strikers.

The French Democratic Kurdish Council (CDK-F) and the French Women's Movement (TJK-F) members gathered at the Republique Square in Paris.

Activists handed out leaflets explaining the reason for the hunger strike demanding the end of isolation against Abdullah Öcalan.

Representatives of the French Communist Party, the Anti-Capitalist New Party, SOS Racisme, ACTIT and SKB joined the action against isolation and in support of the hunger strikes and asked the French government and related institutions to act.
