Demonstrations for Efrin and Öcalan in Dresden and Rennes

In German city Dresden and French city Rennes the military attacks of the Turkish state against Efrîn canton and the aggravated isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan have been condemned.

The invasion attacks of the Turkish state as well as the aggravated isolation Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is kept in have been condemned in the German city Dresden and French city Rennes.

DRESDEN

Following the call of the Democratic Society Centre Council in Dresden and the Uta Women's Council, a demonstration was held in Dresden in protest at Turkey's increasingly ongoing attacks on Rojava's Efrin canton. A massive crowd gathered at the Prager Square and marched to the Alauen Park, where a meeting was held in which the Turkish sate's shelling on Efrîn and the Shehba were protested against. The demonstrators chanted slogans like "Murderer Erdoğan" and "Long live Leader Apo."

RENNES

Also in French city Rennes a massive rally was held at yesterday evening at the Charles de Gaulle Plaza. Many various foreign organisations and unions partook in the protest event as well. Besides the Kurdish Friendship Association, the Peace Movement, the International Association House, Rennes International Information and Solidarity Centre and Argentinian Rene Palacios Association, approximately up to 300 people showed up at the demonstration. The protesters marched to the Republique Square carrying banners reading "Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan" and "Turkish state hands off Efrîn", gathering there for a rally.
