Demonstration against Turkey in The Hague and Brussels

Kurds in the Netherlands and Belgium took to the streets to protest against the Turkish state’s threats against Afrin.

Kurds in the Netherlands and Belgium took to the streets to protest against the Turkish state’s threats against Afrin.

The demonstration in The Hague was staged in front of International Court of Justice. Demonstrators stressed that attacks of the fascist Turkish state will be facing strong response.

In Belgian capital city Brussels, people protested against the Turkish state’s threats against Afrin and imposition of prison uniform.

The demonstration organized by Democratic Kurdish Society Center in Belgium and Peoples’ Democratic Congress-Europe (HDK-A) was held in front of the Turkish Consulate.

Sakine Demir of HDK-A spoke on behalf of the demonstrators and stressed that their fight against prison uniform and Turkey’s threats to invade Northern Syria will continue.

Protesters chanted slogans praising the resistance of Afrin and defense units YPG and YPJ.
