Court decision lands to the Council of State

The court decision to halt the execution of trustees which was suspended after the objection of the Ministry of the Interior, was brought to the Council of State.

Amed Bar Association decided to appeal the reversal of decision ordered after the intervention of the Ministry of Interior on the Court's decision on the seizure of Amed Metropolitan Municipality co-mayor Selçuk Mızrakli. Twelve days after the Court's decision in favour of the suspension of the trustee, the decision was reverted.

In the written statement made by the Bar, the emphasis was put on "the court sentence which was abolished" and the serious mistake made by the Court.

In the petition of appeal, the relevant decisions of the Council of State were referred to and it was demanded that the reversal be cancelled.

Amed Bar Association said that with the appointment of trustees "the will of voters was violated, and the constitutional order was affected."
