Bodies of British YPG fighters arrive in London

Bodies of YPG fighters Oliver Hall (Canşer Zagros) who was martyred on November 25 in minesweeping efforts in Raqqa and Jac Homes (Şoreş Amanos) who lost his life on October 23 have been brought to London.

A large group of Kurdistanis and their families received the YPG fighters with carnations in te Heathrow Airport. The bodies were transferred to the hospital for autopsies from the airport. British press showed great interest in the ceremony in which activist Mark Campbell gave a speech after a minute’s silence.

Campbell said Jac and Oliver turned towards Rojava for humanity and fought heroically against ISIS, and lost their lives during the minesweeping efforts after the liberation of Raqqa.

After the autopsies, Jac Holmes will be laid to rest in Dorset and Oliver Hall in Portsmouth.
