Action in the Hague commended hunger strikers

Messages from hunger strikers in Amed, Strasbourg, Canada, England, Germany and other centers were screened for the crowd.

Hunger strikes and solidarity actions were held in the Hague, the Netherlands, demanding an end to the isolation against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Sunday's meeting was organized by Kurds of Central Anatolia (PKAN). A crowd of people participated in the action promoted by PKAN Netherlands Initiative.

Messages from hunger strikers in Amed, Strasbourg, Canada, England, Germany and other centers were screened for the crowd.

In her video message Leyla Güven sent a determinate message which was met with great enthusiasm by the people in the Hague, as were the speeches of children from Kurdistan.

Several speeches about the resistance were made and the action led by Leyla Güven was said to be a rebellion against the dark process Kurds have been going through.

The day of solidarity ended with the concert of a music group from Rojava.
