A man who was rescued by YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on September 18 from Raqqa city center spoke of time under ISIS’ tyranny in the besieged city.

In the footage released by YPG Press Office, the man says: “They (ISIS) turned this land into a prison”, and asks: “Are we people to be confined? An innocent people to imprison?”

The man tells that ISIS gangs called them infidels and used them as human shields.

“For themselves, they found food and water but we were left hungry”, tells the man in the video footage below:
