Turkish police conducted yet another operation against the HDP and detained more people, including a former MP.

Turkish police forces have raided a number of houses in Ankara Saturday morning as part of yet another operation against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP).

The eight people who have been detained in the operation include former HDP deputy İbrahim Binici, HDP Etimesgut district branch former co-chair Lokman Aydoğmuş, HDP provincial administrator Derya Bakır, academic Sedat Yağcıoğlu, HDP administrator Halil Çelenk, and İsmet Yalçınkaya who was a candidate for the HDP in the June 7 and November 1 elections.
