25 people have been detained in political genocide operations in Istanbul, Kocaeli and Malatya on Wednesday.

ISTANBUL

Journalist Melike Ceyhan, HDP Umraniye District Co-chair Damla Savci and at least 4 others were detained in house raids late last night in Istanbul.

Detainees were taken to the Istanbul Security Directorate on Vatan Avenue.

KOCAELI

10 people were detained in house raids against HDP members and district/province administrators. HDP Kocaeli Province Co-chair Leyla Aygun is among people detained in house raids in Gebze, Derince and Darica. Detainees were taken to the Kocaeli Province Security Directorate.

MALATYA

9 people were detained in house raids in Malatya. Malatya Province Security Directorate issued a statement saying simultaneous operations were held in Malatya in coordination with the Malatya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
