17 ISIS members killed as the circle around Tabqa tightens

17 more members of ISIS gangs were killed during the operations of Syrian Democratic Forces around the Tabqa city and the Euphrates Dam.

Fierce clashes are ongoing between SDF fighters and ISIS gangs around the Tabqa city and the Euphrates Dam since last night. 17 ISIS members were killed during clashes in eastern and western sides of the city.

According to military sources, four fighters were martyred during the past two days of clashes as SDF forces are making further advances in Tabqa city and continue to tighten the circle around the gangs.

The ongoing advance of SDF forces is causing a crisis among the gangs as many are trying to flee from Tabqa and others insist on staying in the city. A following clash between the two groups of gangs ended up with both sides suffering losses. Meanwhile, some gangs are reportedly seeking ways to reach SDF areas together with their families.
