AMED

Police forces conducted simultaneous raids on several houses in Amed early Wednesday morning and detained at least 115 people who include Dihaber trainee Süreyya Dal and DBP (Democratic Regions' Party) Party Assembly member Metin Egici.

The detainees are being kept at the police directorate and they are not allowed to see their lawyers yet.

LİCE

Four people were detained as result of house raids conducted in Amed's Lice district in the early hours of the morning. The detainees include a former mukhtar who was replaced by a trustee and a municipal employee.

KULP

At least 6 people have been taken into custody during house raids conducted in Amed's Kulp district and its villages since late Tuesday evening. The detainees who are accused of "aiding the PKK" have been taken to the district gendarmerie command.

ISTANBUL

35 houses were raided in a simultaneous operation in Istanbul's Sultanbeyli, Sancaktepe, Ümraniye, Avcılar, Arnavutköy, Bağcılar, Bahçelievler, Beyoğlu, Başakşehir, Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kağıthane, Küçükçekmece and Sultangazi districts.

27 people, among them members of the HDP (People's Democratic Party) have been detained in the operation and taken to the police department after a health control.

HATAY

Police forces also raided several houses in İskenderun and Antakya districts of Hatay province early this morning, and detained many people who include HDP members and public servants who have been dismissed recently.

The detainees are reportedly accused of "spreading propaganda for a terrorist organisation" in their social media posts and demonstrations they joined.
