12th hearing of HDP's Yüksekdağ trial to be held today

The case against HDP Figen Yüksekdağ was prepared by combining 7 separate summaries of proceeding. 

The 12th hearing of the case against former HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ will be held today at Ankara 16th High Criminal Court. 

The Prosecutor asked for a prison sentence of up to 83 years for Yüksekdağ.

Yüksekdağ is on trial on allegations of “directing an illegal organization”, "making propaganda for an illegal organization ”, "breaking the law on meetings and demonstrations”, "inciting hatred and enmity ” and "inciting crime". Yüksekdağ is expected to attend the hearing.
 
Yüksekdağ is facing a prison sentence from 30 to 83 years as a result of a 92-page indictment relating to her activities within the Democratic Society Congress (DTK).

The HDP politician has 9 cases opened against her.
